Unclaimed Property Wisconsin
I finished a claim unclaimed property?
I completed a claim for unclaimed property in Wisconsin from a i did not collect wage a few years ago. My problem is that they require "evidence or the address of my previous or documents showing that I had dealings with the property holder, "which I guess is the company I worked for. How can I get one or the other of them (I do not know how to communicate with my former owner), I havent worked for this company in 3-4 years, and I havent lived at that address in about the same amount of time. Could I get this info from my bank somehow as proof that they used to send my statements to my old address? That's all I could think of, but any input or advice would be helpful. Thank you.
I think you have answered your question.
If you can get all the evidence from a trusted source, such as banking and electric bills, etc., with your name and address, you should be in good to go. You can also obtain this information from credit reports as it should be all the addresses you've ever lived. Finally, if you have not worked for the company mentioned in 3-4 years, they should always have your information on file which will also prove useful and your request.
