I am interested in buying a residential property that is on top and commercial on the bottom?

I want to buy a building. (You can usually find buildings, like those in cities). The top floor or two floors, is the home / flat and the lower floor is a store). What's it called? Does anyone know of such a tax implicatons structure? Would I go to a realtor who specializes in commercial real estate?

I think they are listed buildings used as mixed and are classified as commercial structures. Your local agent would have access to such properties if they are the norm in your area.
